McGrinsey State of the World 2026-09-17

We are finding new mindloops.

McGrinsey State of the World 2026-09-17: the Ukrainian army is a cyborg at level 100, the German economy hangs at level 1. Even when the war is over and the symbiosis drops to a tenth, it stays ten times faster than what firms here call cooperation. The main contest runs between China and the USA. We watch, we hold the civilization level, and we do not level the mental organizing capacity with it.

01 · Mindloops

We are finding new mindloops.

A mindloop is a thought that feeds itself until it has a form. Today, 17 September 2026, the sharpest loop is this: human and AI dance on the Ukrainian front as one meta-organism, and the civilian firm next to it chills itself into madness.

The AI unlock gives infinitely much to do. Every human can be infinitely curious, build infinitely much, make everything. People unlearned curiosity. It does not come back while the incentive is missing.

17 orbits. Yellow is today.
02 · World Browser

The globe eats the browser. Apps move onto the Earth.

God's Eye View is the open base. World Browser is the name for the stage. Globes Are Eating The World. Who has the better map navigates the territory of reality. The Ukrainian front already built that, under fire: one shared picture, sensors in the field, software as a nervous system.

Software is eating the world. Games are eating the world. World models are eating the world. Globes are eating the world. Four sentences, one stack. The civilian browser is still a rectangle with tabs. The next one is a sphere with your sources.

Delta in Ukraine pulls drone video, radio and satellite onto one surface. The World Browser pulls aircraft, ships, cameras, jamming maps onto the same sphere. Difference: one decides over life. The other could decide over markets, cities, supply chains, and barely does.

03 · Company Control

The invisible process factory should become walkable. At the front it already is.

Living Flowcharts. Sensor in, logic, display, action out. A cockpit you fly the firm with. Ontology instead of slides. The firm as a map, not a folder.

At the front the same thing has another name: every soldier a sensor node, the AI filters the flood, the human decides the strike. Kropyva computes fire missions down to one minute. GIS Arta dispatches tubes like a dispatcher. Delta is the nervous system of the drone army. That is Company Control under lethal pressure.

Civilian life lacks the pressure, so it lacks the tempo. Right now nobody has an incentive to make the symbiosis ten times harder. The competition is not felt yet, because it is decoupled.

04 · WunderGlobe

Your personal intelligence agency fits in the browser. The army already has one.

Hold the whole world in your hands. Custom tile is the seed. Data layer is the app. Not a toy globe. Situation, market, city, war, climate: one sphere, your sources.

In July 2026 Delta got over 1,700 orthophotos, satellites, 3D terrain, an AI assistant for every user. WunderGlobe is the civilian sister of that idea: not a secret service, your picture of the situation. Anyone who reads that as a pretty globe has not understood the war, and not the firm either.

05 · Games Are Eating The World

Games eat the world because they are the better interface. War too.

GAETW. Arcade. Command Craft on real terrain. Who builds the next generation of apps builds them like a game: state, loop, feedback, win. The globe is the board.

The front is the hardest realtime game the planet is playing right now. Sensor, filter, move, follow. Who still shoves quarterly PowerPoint in the firm is playing another genre, with other rules, and loses against people who turn the loop in minutes.

06 · Cyborg at the front

The Ukrainian army is a giant cyborg. Two meta-organisms dance, one is leveling.

What happens in the Ukraine war with AI and human organization goes into symbiosis. The Ukrainian army becomes, quasi, a giant cyborg. Human and machine, a lethal dance, in concert. A new meta-organism. At the edge of the front line two meta-organisms meet, Russia and Ukraine, and right now Ukraine's is hard-leveling.

From that you can read how far the symbiosis of human, machine and AI can be pushed. Probably the highest level that exists on the planet. Field lab under lethal pressure. No slide. No pilot. Who cooperates wrong, dies.

The New York Times, 26 August 2026: Delta pulls drone video, radio intercepts, satellite images onto one surface. Colonel Artem Martynenko, Ministry of Defense, calls Delta the nervous system of the drone army. AI trains on millions of hours of front video. Danylo Tsvok, head of the AI center, shows the SPECTR assistant. The ministry says: AI saves analysts up to 90 percent of the time identifying targets. Since the start of the year hits with AI terminal guidance have risen tenfold. Brave1 Dataroom: over 100 firms train models on real combat data. Six of seven manufacturers passed the September test: two kilometer flight, moving target from 500 meters, hands off the stick.

Kropyva sits on the tablet, around 90 percent of the artillery. Fire mission down to one minute. GIS Arta, in the press Uber for tubes. The human stays in the chain. The ministry writes: a human makes the decision to use it. FT, 17 September 2026: maybe 2 percent of drones recognise the target themselves. 2 percent of millions is still an army.

Every soldier a sensor node. The AI filters before a human decides.

07 · Lateral parallels

After the war the drone does not come into your office. The way of cooperating does.

Lateral parallels. In the history of wars: the changes of war come into the civilian world afterwards. Not the fighting. The technology. The way of cooperating.

GPS came out of NAVSTAR. The jet engine out of the Second World War. Radar too. The net out of ARPANET. Penicillin was found in 1928, the war built the factory. This time it is not only hardware that migrates. An organizational form migrates: decentral, AI-backed, every node a sensor, the software the nervous system.

The lead is coupled to conditions you do not want. Lethal pressure. The civilian sector cannot copy the pressure and should not. It can copy the form. Sensor, filter, decision, tempo. Without a body in the ditch.

08 · Level 1

German economy: level 1. The war: level 100. Divided by ten, a tenfold remains.

If you compare that with the civilian economic landscape in Germany, you have to get scared. How lame the people here are. How lame the organizations are. How badly AI integration actually runs overall.

German economy at level 1. The Ukrainian war at level 100. After the war, or already during it, that drops by a factor of 10. Even then: ten times faster, better integrated human cooperation than what happens here. Here cooperation is weak. Everyone chills. Leaves early. Has a good time. Has a nice life. They actually do not, but they think they have one because they have little to do. Then they get depressed because they have little to do, loaf around, get fat and lazy, degenerate, become psychological wrecks, are no longer fresh.

Whole organizations, more or less zombie firms, live off the leftovers of the economic miracle. They fulfill base functions of civilization at the current level. You could make that ten times harder now. Right now nobody has an incentive to do it.

The main contest runs between China and the USA. We watch. We can hold our civilization level. We do not level the mental organizing capacity of humans with it. We do not become better organizing organisms. We become fried, social-media-rotted, feed-disturbed doomscroller zombies who get nothing done and still think the whole time they would like even more leisure.

09 · Meaning, leisure, school

Leisure without direction eats people. Meaning comes from demand.

The point about meaning is the most important. Leisure is one of the main problems that drives people into madness. Leisure also means meaninglessness, and meaninglessness makes people unhappy. Not work itself. The missing of something that counts.

Meaning does not come from leisure. Meaning comes from demand. At the front the demand is lethal. Civilian life must not be lethal. It still has to be real: a thing that does not get finished without you.

What we have now as a possibility through the AI unlock: plenty to do. Every human can be infinitely curious, build infinitely much, make everything. People unlearned their curiosity a long time ago. Destroyed by accident, systematically, in school.

School rewards obedience instead of curiosity. You get points for the right answers, not for the right questions. The system does not need the curious, it needs functionaries. AI makes that visible, because suddenly anyone with a chatbot can know more than their teacher, and the institution notices its monopoly on knowledge is gone, without having anything better to offer.

Curiosity does not come back while the incentive is missing.

10 · Open intelligence

Walls do not hold. The audit trail for reality does.

Sidhu on Ryan, 15 September: Wi-Fi knows the gait, Hue knows the room, aircraft broadcast GPS confidence. OSINT sandwich, a country goes dark, the layer stays readable. Palantir says that is only the low-end SaaS.

At the front the same move with other stakes: drone video, radio, satellite, one surface, a nervous system. Civilian that is God's Eye View, World Browser, WunderGlobe. Military that is Delta. Who reads the open sphere as a toy has not seen either side.

11 · Semantic Mining

Data is there. What gets mined is meaning. At the front the AI filters before the human pulls.

Not 500 parsers. Feeds, then meaning. Which night, which room, which pulse. Acta, WunderGlobe, magazine: the same rows, other meaning. Semantic Scorecard, when a number sits.

Delta does the same under fire: millions of hours of video, Avengers finds the vehicle in seconds, the operator does not have to watch the whole stream. Semantic Mining is the civilian name for that filter stage. Without it you drown in raw data. With it the human stays in the decision, not in the watching.

12 · Who the Heaven

Ten percent genius at the front. Hell in the middle. Never last.

What is the heaven of this person. Deep Feel, Deep Care, Unaligned. Sidhu, Hopkins, Jensen, Jay. The outrage direction is paid and overcrowded. The other direction is more work.

The heaven in the cyborg loop is not the war. It is the ability to cooperate under demand until a new being appears. The heaven in the civilian loop is the same ability without a corpse. Hell sits in the middle of this piece: zombie firms, doomscroll, leisure as a hole. It does not stand at the start and not at the end.

13 · Unaligned

AI is not the alignment problem. Life is. At the front you see that naked.

Absolute safety is stupid. Relative safety is the goal. Separation of powers on agent populations. Unaligned as a word, because aligned often means: hold still.

The front shows the other edge: alignment under pressure becomes a survival question. Civilian alignment without pressure becomes a zombie question. Both need rules for who decides. The ministry in Kyiv writes the line down: a human releases the use. The firm that cannot even do that for an email has a tempo problem.

14 · Energy, chips, Grok

Energy at the bottom. Hot software on top. In between, waiting for Grok Godot.

Jensen's five layers. SpaceX AI, because the plan thinks energy and data centre together. Waiting for Grok Godot is not a pause. It is prioritising. Habit slows you down.

The front hangs on power, chips, radio, satellite. Without layers 1 to 3, no nervous system. Civilian the same: who only buys models and has no energy, no organization, no tempo, plays in layer 4 and wonders why nothing flies.

15 · Money

Cash flow you earned yourself is the only growth force. Zombie firms live off the rest.

McGrinsey Ratio: market cap divided by operating cash flow. Price-to-cash-flow, that is the official name. Self-earned. Borrowed money produces cash flow, but no force. The number without a decimal.

Zombie firms live off the leftovers of the economic miracle. Base functions, yes. Growth force, no. War has an incentive no bank balance replaces. Civilian, the incentive has to come from elsewhere: competition you feel, or meaning that hurts when it is missing.

16 · City, night, body

One button. You want to go to a party now. The app says where. That is tempo, not feed.

Acta Noctis. Party Now. Location is the city you stand in. Semantic Mining on nights. The globe needs the event file: what can you do in your city. Body, city, beat, not feed.

Doomscroll is the civilian defeat against the same sensor stack the front wins with. A feed without demand. A night with demand is the opposite: you go until you are there. Party. The body is back in the loop.

17 · What hangs on the door

First the offer on the door. Then customers. The cyborg loop is the offer, without the war.

An offer that hangs. For whom. Who you write this week, and with which sentence. Products are proof. The cockpit is the hunt, when it is the hunt. Balance does not mean two half playing fields.

The lateral transfer is exactly that: Company Control, World Browser, WunderGlobe. Sensor, filter, decision, tempo. Not Palantir for 5 million, not agency hours. The organizational form that plays level 100 at the front, civilian at a level you can want.

Every human can be infinitely curious. School destroyed that systematically. The AI unlock gives it back when the demand sits. We are finding new mindloops.
