Whoever pulls this sword from the sea shall be king of the universe. How the right knowledge lets you forge your sword of power.

This is a guide on how to forge your sword of power from your curiosity and the right knowledge.

From drops of power-knowledge to drowning in the sea of knowledge.

How do you find the right knowledge without a knowledge GPS?

How do you forge your sword of power?

Let's go!

My freshest top inspiration source is the book Deep Future by Pablos Holman: a tour through the coolest garages on earth and a walk through the brain corridors of the world's most creative inventors. The guy has been collecting inventors for decades -> result -> Curiosity Singularity -> a damn good snapshot of the current tech tree and its juiciest branches.

At least as good as it gets without a knowledge navigation system.

We are at 10,000 X KNOL from 1925.
But we still learn at 1 X.

If knowledge is power, but we no longer know what we could know, let alone how to filter the rightest, most important and most powerful knowledge from the sea of knowledge, if we no longer know what we could know and do not know what we would need to know to run our projects better: then the reverse effect of knowledge seas kicks in. We drown in knowledge and end up powerless.

Knowledge is power.
A drop of knowledge in the desert of ignorance at the dawn of humanity: pure, distilled, clearly visible and instantly usable power.

Seas of knowledge are powerlessness.
More knowledge equals more power?
That held for a long time.
Until knowledge grew so vast you could not even drink it through a fire hose.
Humanity's knowledge went from a drop in the desert to a sea.
Now we are surrounded by a sea of knowledge, but we can no longer find the valuable drops.

That is why the most powerful tool of the knowledge society is a magic sword of knowledge.

OK, that's it.

I no longer call it
knowledge navigation,
I call it the sword of knowledge.
Sword of power.
He-Man + Gandalf = Wyzy

Or something like that.

Whoever pulls this sword from the sea
shall be king of knowledge
and lead the galaxy.

Amen.

Right, I did promise a sword of power.

Bold claim. Let's build it.

It is forged from

  • your curiosity
  • the right knowledge building blocks
    • to find them
    • you must FIND the old masters of the last 50 years and then study them
    • surround yourself with the media ghosts of the geniuses
    • connect their thoughts with your thoughts
    • and create new knowledge stones of power
    • fuse them into a unique combination
  • "Mom, sword's done!"

Important notes for the road:

Never let everyday apes drag you down into the jungle of stupidity.

There will be shitty days: fuck it! Give up! Retreat. Regroup. Sleep. Dream. Restart. Reboot. Wake up: Here we go again!

Learn to observe your feelings and thoughts and use them to put yourself into any mental state you want.

That way you can also choose to be in damn good spirits and massively happy. Yes, being 100% happy does not work physiologically, so be 80% full of joy and treat yourself to a healthy 20% mix of negative feelings, thoughts and overall states.

The magic, is in the mix.

A sword of power was never forged in a single day.

But as a real hero, you can advance on your journey every day, find new paths, new masters of power, new stones of knowledge-power and new clues for the next steps.

Dance across the path of life's dangers like a wild Kung Fu Panda who had kids with a mountain goat, kids who breakdance on a cliff face while watching their panda dad dance. Meanwhile: sing your song. Unswerving. Unbeatable. Free. Your own melody. Your own song. The song of your life.

Short version: Sing the song of your life, collect the stones of knowledge and forge your sword of power from them.

You will know how to join the stones once you have them all.

First you must find the stones of knowledge and drink the water of insight.

Finding me was already a solid step.

Now find masters of knowledge who are even more curious, smarter, more far-sighted, more insightful, more profound than me.

Start for example with Pablos Holman and his fresh book "Deep Future": learn more about this hyperbrain behind this hyperlink and let him guide you through the wildest inventor garages on earth: deepfuture.tech.
